Slate starts from something that works
Methodical for HR already generates offer letters, appointment letters and exit documents on each company's own letterhead, to each company's own design, and the approver signs them with one click. That's in production today. When Slate ships, these documents move onto it — and everything else on this page is built the same way.

Not another deck maker
In your design system
Slate will follow your brand guidelines — logo, letterhead, colours, type, layouts — so every deck and document looks like it came from your company, not from a template. Our HR letters already work this way: each company's letterhead, to its own design.
From your records
Figures will come from Smart Tables, documents from Drive, details from your Methodical apps. So the numbers in the deck match the numbers in the system.
In your language
You'll be able to write the brief in English and get the document in Tamil, or the other way round. Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu and Kannada.
Made when something happens
Switchboard will produce a document the moment it's needed — a candidate accepts, a proposal is approved — then eSign collects the signature and Drive files it.
